The History of Original Haze
Dating back to the seventies the original haze strain definitely is one of the original marijuana strains available for marijuana cultivators. Not many strains were discovered at that point as crossing strains wasn’t a popular method to practice at the time.
Original Haze
In the late 70’s a cross strain was completed to create the Original Haze strain. Various Sativa strains were used to complete the cross including Mexican/Columbian strains and some Thai and South Indian strains. Despite the end result being a strain which has a below average yield and takes a long time to reach flowering the strain still received a lot of attention and is still popular today.
Original Haze bud tastes sweet and sour and also has a fairly strong psychedelic effect when smoked as well. The potency of Original Haze is definitely on another level compared to most above average marijuana strains available. Original haze is usually used for breeding with other strains now and the newly created strains usually have a THC content between ten and twenty percent.
There are many strains which have been crossed with Original Haze which have had very successful results. The main reason for this is because you are getting the strong potency from the Original Haze strain and the other features from different strains which it’s crossed with such as a higher yield or bigger buds. You might not want to buy Original Haze seeds now with the different cross strains available but you will likely find a haze strain which interests you that you would like to grow.
